horn honking

Asked by Rob Mar 02, 2014 at 12:00 AM about the 2006 Chrysler Sebring Touring Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my car starts to honk late at night and in the middle of the night when it is cold outside.
What can I do about this

1 Answer

305

Obviously it is a malfunctioning security system. I am not familiar with your particular year/model but when my car did that I had to lock it manually so as to NOT engage the alarm system. If you are comfortable doing that great, if not, I would contact an Auto Electric Specialist business.
