Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So my 2006 Chrysler Sebring 2.7 L
engine is having some trouble. It's
getting older but I need it for right
now and it's having some issues.
Today I went to crank it for the first
time in about a day and it wouldn't
start. All the lights worked but it
made a single click and wouldn't go.
I was sitting there trying to assess
the click and trying to crank while
after several attempts it just started
up but it struggled and there was a
lot of light smoke out of the exhaust.
The coolant has been running out
almost every day and a half. I've
replaced the thermostat housing 3
times, it currently has a factory made
with a rebate on it, it's been almost a
year since I last replaced but it has
no leaks in it the coolant is just gone
after driving around. Besides that the
emergency brake light comes on and
off now and the horn stopped
working but you can hear it muffle
every now and then as it acts like
there is some electrical issue. Can
anyone tell me what is causing it to
have trouble starting or when at a
light it sometimes acts like it wants
to stall out til you give it gas? It's
automatic as well. I also need to
know why the coolant is running out
or why I would keep having this issue
with the thermostat housing? Please
help.

Never heard of so much trouble with a thermostat housing unless maybe it isn't being installed properly. Sounds like maybe that isn't the only place you might be losing coolant. It could be getting into your combustion chambers through a bad head gasket. There is a test for this. You can buy a test kit for about 50 bucks, or you can have it tested at a shop. Also, have the computer read for codes this will give u a place to start.
