2006 pt cruiser,wherer is the fuse box located in the dash?

the fuse box in the dash is just to the left of the steering column the cover says fuses

uhhh no its not ,there is no fuse panel on a 2006-07, on the left side of the steering column, and your suppose to know your stuff

Its behind the air cleaner, looks like a flat black box.

where is the air cleaner?

I am having trouble with the cigarette lighter not working. The fuse panel on the left side of the dash but I can find the fuse for the cigarette lighter. Is the fuse for the cigarette lighter fuse in the fuse box under the air cleaner and who should I take it to have the other power socket installed.

The 2006+ cruiser don't have an interior fuse box. The last cruiser to have that was 2005. Everything is in the IPM (Integrated Power Module) that's in the engine compartment. The whole electronic system was changed in 2006 to the CAN- BUS system which isn't easy to work on. Do you have an owners manual? That will give you the layout of all the things inside the IPM. I need to know why my windshield wipers will not go on and off with my switch the only way I can turn them off is going under the hood unplugging the motor. I shouldn't have to do that what's the problem do anybody know?

I'm trying to see if their is a guess for the 2007 for the horn does any one know or do u know how to make it work
