Over heating

Asked by Alan Jun 04, 2016 at 11:00 PM about the 2007 INFINITI G35 Sport Sedan RWD

Question type: General

So, recently i changed the water pump and
thermostat on my 07 g35 sedan hoping the heating
problem would go away. Once the repair was done
it was fine. Just a few weeks later does the same
water spill but temp. gauge stays in the middle but
i noticed the antifreeze in the reserve tank bubbles
and fills up. Any body have any suggestions on
what it might be. Its a VQ35HR if that helps. Just
wanna fix this problem already :/

If reserve tank bubbles thats probably a bad head gasket. Have you tried replacing the radiator hoses with new clamps, radiator cap and flushing the system? Also whats the hottest you let the temp gauge get to??

Well since i dont live to far from work it hasnt heated up on me and i havent been using the AC. But the last time it did it, it got up to 3/4 of the way then i turned off AC and shut car off. I am now just getting the radiator replaced as well as clamps and hoses. Ill see what happens. Thank you!

I have same problem new radiator and fans ,but no water in the oil? which leads me to believe its not head gasket any help on this issue?
