My problem was the CD changer in the trunk. I ejected the CD holder and the drain goes away. I just left it out, didn’t use it anyway.

Thank you! I have a 2008 G35 and the battery was dying after being parked for two days. It was the CD changer in the trunk. I ejected the cd cassette and I was able to put my hand inside the cassette slot and the unit was very warm to the touch. After removing the cassette. I came back 30 minutes later and the unit was cool to the touch.

Loose gas cap warning light = battery drain Infiniti QX60 hybrid. Two AAA calls and one new battery later..... I found my battery drain was the warning light for loose gas cap. The warning light is a car with an exclamation point. I had a dead battery. AAA gave me a jump. Drove the car, used my charger. Everything was fine the next day but I noticed the weird warning light, thought it was related to my wife using the spare key when AAA arrived. Didn't drive for two days...dead battery. Warning light wouldn't go away. AAA came again. I asked for a new battery but he said it seemed to be fine, just low voltage. I got a new battery anyway, since my car is 5 years old. I don't regret the decision. I do regret that a supposed luxury brand like Infiniti has a stupid issue like this.

I had the same issue with my 08 Infiniti G35x. Had to end up pulling the fuse to the over head lights and electric seats. Issue solved. No problems since. Hope this helps someone.

Hi we are having the same problem with our 2014 QX80, terrible battery drain and super unreliable. So frustrating. Any others having the same issues?

I have had my car battery replaced three times. I stopped dead in the middle of a highway when the gas gauge failed. Since, I have been told it was the analog clock, the IBS and an off market wiring device. I am furious finding all of these forums and am treated like I am insane by the dealership! They offered me a low ball trade in amount and said they would have to send to auction. Obviously they now this is a common issue with emissions wiring that limits the battery charge.
