Question type: General

My car is idling high.  I just changed the
Throttlebody. Someone at Auto Zone told me my
throttlebody was going bad. So I took it off cleaned
it with throttlebody cleaner started idling high. So I
just bought a $250 throttlebody my car is still
having the same issues. It’s a 5.3 Grand Prix 2007
GXP.

    The passenger side radiator cooling fan does not turn on until the estimated temp reaches 225 to 230 degrees. I find this to be a bit hot. These temps are when the car is idling as in traffic jams.
