Can my car run without the outside temperature sensor?

Asked by grandprixjudy Sep 02, 2015 at 01:56 PM about the 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My outside temperature sensor will read -45 on a 95 degree day. I've had it
replaced and was told it was probably in the wiring. Can I just take it out?

Yes you can take it out if you'd like, but it might be fun just to leave it in and take photos and post them on facebook on 95 degree days!
