07 grand prix steering drift

after hitting a chug hole my car drifts from one side to the other..I think my
rack is loose..how did that happen

You hit that hole that's why it happened and you your sterring system is 10 years old...

My 07 grand prix has a broken rack mount..this is second rack I've put on this car..they keep breaking right at the same place,the right mounting bracket..why do they keep breaking?..the cause of the 1st break was a large pothole..the others just break! Help me somebody...
