2007 Grand Prix transmission

I have a 2007 Grand Prix 3800 super charged what
transmissions are compatible I’ve been told I can only
use the same exact one. Can anyone help?

The transmission will have a metal tag on it. When shopping for a used transmission the tag on the potential replacement transmission must match the tag on your transmission exactly. Hope that helps! Jim

i'd only use a supercharged park avenue x-mission as a alternate.not sure if a sc regal is a option.
