My car wouldnt start, dead battery we thought so we replaced battery. When it gets cold it still won't start, when you try to turn it over it just clicks. Once the weather warms up it starts again...What would cause this?

there's probably a relay , if the starter clicks then you can figure it's getting power when you hit the key and needs to be replaced , make sure batt terminals are clean and tight first

you may want a memory saver before you remove the neg. batt. terminal

Do you mean a relay needs replaced or the starter needs replaced? Will it give a code if it is the starter? I appreciate your answers so much!!! Thank you!!

if the starter clicks then you can assume it's getting power , make sure batt. is charged and terminals are clean and tight , if the starter is getting power and doesn't crank then replace it , you may want to get a memory saver before you disconnect the neg. batt. terminal
