What's this plastic Punchout rectangle that's labelled DVD for?

Hey Gurus,I just bought my 2007 Nissan Murano SL and there's a weird rectangular plastic punch out on the passenger's side of the center console that says DVD on it.   What is this for? As far as the salespeople know there is no DVD Entertainment system available for the Muranos.  Anyone know what this is for? Where would it play DVD's?...On the NAV screen?  Or is this somehow referencing Audio DVDs. Allowing you to copy loads of MP3 files and use the folder/artist organization functionality of the audio system? Any info?  I'm also wondering what's it actually going to take to get the XM function working.  I believe the sticker said the radio was XM ready. Does that mean I just need to add one of the little $50 XM tuners that connects to the radio? Or do I need to also install an XM antenna too? Help me please. Thanks, much ablidged.

its for the nav system. it doesnt work without the nav dvd. i have a 2003 murano and when u take the dvd out the nav doesnt work. the reason for a dvd nav is so when they have new updates all you have to do is buy the new dvd and pop it in
