Relay Switch?

Asked by gizmical May 21, 2009 at 05:37 PM about the 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier Wagon FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had some problems cranking the car awhile back and found if I turnt the key just enough to hear the fuel pump and wait for it to stop I could crank the car. Now I hear this clack clack clack sound when I try to crank it and sounds like it's coming for the glove compartment area. I was told maybe a relay? How would I be able to find out which one, if indeed it is one of them. The car isn't showing any codes.

Shortly before all this I would be driving and the locks would lock and unlock on the doors, but that totally stopped.
