when i start my car up in cuts off in 1 minute

It's probably a TBI unit , be ready with some gas before it wants to die , I use a soda bottle with a pin hole in the cap and if a little gas keeps her going then thats where the problem is ,if not check for spark , just not with any gas around ya know . Let us know what happens .
