How do I get my van to start

Asked by Daniel Apr 12, 2021 at 09:02 PM about the 2003 Chrysler Town & Country eX LWB FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I put my van in a field that had water that reached the
middle of my door. I had it towed I let it set for it one day. I
have tried to get it started after doing several things. I
pulled brainbox and dried it out with a hair dryer I have
pulled both spark plugs and spark plug wires turn the car
over until all water was out and replaced with new spark
plugs and new wires I pulled the air filter to try to start it it
still will not start I hear the fuel pump start when I turn the
key to on but not over. I don't know what else to do. Can
somebody tell me anything else I might be able to do to get
my van working again cuz this is my only transportation.

check for proper spark , fuel pressure and injector pulse , I think a chrysler has inherently bad wiring so if it took a bath it might be a goner .

I would not waste money on this car. You might eventually get it running but the problems will multiply. Time to shop for another car.
