Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Would I be able to run no muffler, no resonator, and no
catalytic converter from the downpipe without a tune
safely on my 2006 Subaru STI? I currently have a
borla xr1 exhaust( muffler and resonator pipe), and no
cats, I'm not sure what downpipe I have maybe stock
or aftermarket.

The engine would never run right and you would collect a lot of tickets or maybe have your car impounded.

FOR's right...don't do it! The ECM wants a cat and rear O2 to manage fuel safely. Running a boosted motor without careful tune is complete suicide.
