The Auto ride on my 2007 Suburban makes a very loud rattling noise on start up and intermittently as I drive. What can I do to fix this out of warranty problem that every one I know that has Auto ride has?

It might be that the compressor for the Autoride system has loosened and/or broken from its mounting brackets, or the compressor is getting weak and straining making the noise you describe as rattling. Have some listen to the compressor. Located on the frame rail behind the drivers side rear tire. See if the rattle can be identified at that location when the Suburban is started. If the rattling is coming from the front of the vehicle its likely to be a loose heat shield for the exhaust manifolds just below the spark plugs, or the heat shield for the catalytic converter on the right side exhaust past the right front tire area if you're unfamiliar where a catalytic converter is located.
