Used car

Asked by NikkiG80 Dec 03, 2016 at 06:27 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LT 4WD

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

We recently bought a 2007 Chevy
Suburban in Indiana. It was sold as is.
Upon our inspection we found NO seatbelt
in the middle chair. Dealer said they would
ship us a new one & we would need to
take it to a Chevy dealer to install. It's been
2 weeks with no seatbelt delivered. Also,
our wheel barring came off on our way
home to MN & caused our front passenger
wheel to start on fire. They only paid $700
for the repair. It cost over $1000.
Dealership is not returning our calls. What
should we do?

It was sold as is and they were nice enough to give you $700 towards repairs. They owe you nothing. Bummer, next time buy a warranty.

You got $700 from them that they did not owe you, the seat belt will cost a lot less than that so you are probably $600 ahead. It is too bad about the wheel bearing though.
