Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2007 Chevy Suburban 1500 keeps cranking after starting, sometimes
keeps cranking but doesn't start, and sometimes just starts like normal.  I've
had a shop put on a new starter and claimed it was fixed.  It wasn't.  Then
had a different shop put a relay in and claimed it was fixed.  It wasn't.  I'm
taking it to the local Chevy dealer garage next, but am not even sure what
they will say or do.  Any ideas or suggestions?

The info is for unwanted cranking. Trouble code p1682. Have you wired any aftermarket accessories to ignition feed? I was looking at tsb for your vehicle. As far as the fix?

I wish I was that mechanical, but no, I've installed nothing. I have no mechanical abilities. It is a low-mileage (60k) Suburban we bought from my father-in-law when he got too old to drive it. I puzzled simply because I've taken it to two shops, both who claimed to have solved the problem, but it is probably worse than it was when I first took it in.
