160,000 miles is nothing to a Saturn, I have a friend who has a 93 SC and he has 350,00 miles on it and has done nothing but regular maintenance on it, it all comes down to how you drive your car and how well you maintain it

The MOST important on these engines is to change the oil RELIGIOUSLY!!! My sister owned one for ten years and put nothing but Mobil1 in it every 5000 miles. At 123,000 miles, there was NO compression loss in any or the cylinders.
