Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Our Passenger Door only stays tightly closed when we REALLY slam it...any suggestions for this without replacing bearings or removing the mechanism completely?  Thanks.

Try oiling the latch mechanism and also take a look at the stud on the door frame that the latch mechanism grabs. If the neoprene/plastic bushing is cracked or missing, it may be allowing it to come loose. A new door latch stud with the bushing is about $10 at Advance Auto and about 10 mins work, tops.
