Does the car turn over? If the car doesnt turn over and you also tried jump starting it, its possibly a starter motor. If the motor turns the car over and it doesnt fire, could be fuel or ignition. You can test for ignition with an old school timing light, or an extra plug wire and a spare spark plug (but you need to be careful to properly ground the temporary spark plug.) to check fuel, if you can check fuel rail pressure thats for sure one way (when you turn the key on). Any engine light codes?

don't hold ur foot on open throttle when trying to start all your going to do is flood the system. First, you must just check your battery to see if there's a charge. if not then buy a new battery or attempt to charge that one so you can drive it to a shop. Then you can try to crank it over and if it doesn't then you'll need a new start, however, if it does than just give the throttle body a good cleaning same with the map sensor and throttle position sensor. If it is running but your battery is continuously dying than you can take it to a shop and have the alternator check. I recommend if you can get it to a shop then do it because it's cheap to do that than buy a lot of new parts and still have it breaking in a month or so down the line.

coolant temp sensor, fuel pump, crankshaft position sensor, wet spark plugs, bad Ignition coils, broken wire to the ignition module, bad ignition module, bad computer, bad starter motor, bad fuel pump relay, clogged fuel filter, and even low compression. if any of these are bad and not producing how they should, they will hinder an engine from starting.
