What is wrong with my saturn.. :(

I think my transmission is out on my
car.. its shifting to slow and it seems
like the gas peddal is heavy. I was
driving home one day and I was
pushing on the gas and it wasnt doing
anything... I thankfully glided and
made it to were I needed to go. Also
when I start it white smoke comes out
the tail pipe..?

Sounds more like a blown head gasket. You will most likely have to bring it to the shop for a leak down test to confirm a bad head gasket.
