My brother is blind and he flushed the radiator out and every since the car is running hot and the electric fans are not coming on. I am sitting on the side of the road in a bad part of town because the car is running hot. Do I need to pop the hood and crank the car with the radiator cap off until they kick on?

Thanks, I did go by Auto Zone and had them run a complete diastnostic check on it, and they told me that the#1 spark plug needed to be replaced and I bought what the machine said I needed could the cylinder 1 stop the fans from working and cause the car to overheat?
