I am having the exact same problem. I have a 1990 camaro rs that is doing the same thing, it will start then as I am driving it the car dies. I have been reading the blogs on this topic and the two points I can find is the distributer and the fuel pump. Go figure gas and spark. Anyway trying to trouble shoot it I have found that when I put it in gear to relearn the system it will die immediately. Saves me from having to tow it home all the time. I am just getting into this issue, I am not a big blogger but I will check back in if I learn something. Tom_moody@sbcglobal.net

everybody needs to try the v a t system first there are two security phases of this system one keeps your car from starting the other one lets it start the minute you try to drive it will die you can ohm out your key to find the resistance of your chip then buy resistors from Radio Shack to equal the amount of resistance of your chip unplug your vet system under the steering column it is a orange sleeve with two small white wires inside it going to a plug with two wires that are going to the vat system tie those resistors in to the vat side of the plug this will bypass the Vats system completely this should only cost about $5

My daughter has an older Camaro they are working on. It runs until it reaches a certain temperature then it dies. They have replaced the thermostat and all the sensors. Could it be the fuel pump?

your car isn't getting enough back pressure through the exhaust to keep it running and it wants to die when u give it gas you'll have to keep your foot on the gas when u put it in gear.
