whats the cause of a hard bouncy brake pedal on my jaguar s-type 3.0 2005 reg.....brakes work fine...but pedal just seems bouncy....ant ideas please

Probably needs new rotors. This is not an expensive part. If you are mechanically inclined you can probably do it yourself. Two hours labor at most shops would change both, barring something extrodinary.
