How do I fix my radio?

My radio volume doesn’t stay up—it fades to
nothing. I turn it up it will stay loud for a bit than
fade away. Later it will immediately fade right after
turning up.

Stupid question, but you aren't hitting the "volume down" switch on the steering wheel are you?

No—I thought that originally also. My cruise control is working just fine and so are my turn signals so looking into my amplifier
