How can one make a connection between the VIN & the CAC/CRC designation on the fuel pump?

I have a '94 Park ave.  The fuel pump needs replaced but, without removing the old pump, I have no way to tell which pump to get.

the vin don't get that personal , closest it will do is eighth digit is engine type, either will fit,, the flow rate is about 10 more gph with the crc unit and that would be the bigger block engine,
