Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Had water pump replaced and the battery was disconnected.  They did not fix the fuel indicator, so it just sits at 9 o'clock, below the "E."  How to reset it without taking it back to the trolls?

sound like u have a bad fuel gauge gm have problems with the instrument cluster gauges some of the other gauges act up as well the only fix is to send the cluster to repair I would look for electrical shop in the area as they are very familiar with this problem avg fix is around $250....

But this happened years ago. The mechanic simply reset it. Thanks though.

Good news. The mechanics re-connected the fuel dial and I road away in 30 minutes. No harm - no foul.
