if it's a rubber hose cut it after the clamps are off ,, don't make any sparks ,

it 2 parts metal at top 2 rubber hose big & little then metal at bottom 2 rubber hose big & little to gas tank

but I like your answer. I was thinking abought doing that cutting 2 top hose pull apart at bottom cut off big hose I have new hose .but not little one going to save

usually you can twist/push/pull till it comes loose or your arm gets cramped up , but if it's going to be replaced then cut away

i have a 2001 chevy blazer with the 4.3. its 4 wheel drive and i need to replace the pan gasket and the front crank shaft seal what is the easiest way to do this and does the engine have to come out. 1 Answer

the pan gasket and front crank seal has to be replaced have heard that the engine needs to come out or it doesn't have to. just need to know how the easiest possible way.
