Oil light

I have a '06 Mitsubishi Gallant and yesterday my oil
light came on, so I checked the oil and it wasn't low
so how do I get the oil light to go off?

You either have to change your oil or you have a bad oil pump.

I stand corrected, beatupchevy's right. That's a simpler and cheaper next step
