2006 Mini Cooper, 130K miles: Major problems?

I'm thinking of buying it for $5500 and I've heard the only complaint is overheating issues. Is this true?
Any other typical problems with them? Thanks!

Just install a temp gauge and you will be good to go. If you are considering an S, then there are a couple of addition concerns, but mostly maintenance.

Yes the water pump does leak causing the vehicle to over heat. I would recommend you stay away from the S though it has many more problems.
