Unprogramming key fob

Asked by LCB24 Apr 26, 2019 at 10:00 PM about the 2006 Hyundai Tiburon GS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I want to unprogram the keyfob because I believe
it’s causing a security issue that won’t let the car
start

1 Answer

No I bought the car without the keyfob and then my family got one from the junk yard and did the simple programming to get it hooked up. Now I get no power when I turn the key and no dash lights come on but the keyfob works to lock and unlock my doors so I have power and the battery and terminals are good.
