2006/350Z conv. Cranks but wont start something is draining the battery i beleave their was a short in the cigarette lighter before the problem ecclated

so the battery terminals where loose and shorted so i replaced the battery and
changed a belt a/c.  now still the battery is being drained and the car wont start

I have a 2003 350z and had the same issue. I changed the ground cable and it starts right up, as it should.
