WIth the scan tool disconnected and the key on - Does the check engine light illuminate.WHat happens when the car starts Out/On ??
WHat is the Initial problem with the vehicle for you decide it needs scanning.
I am not familiar with AUTOTAP but basic diagnosis should solve your comunication problem power/ grounds/ communication lines.

Ok. First of all on the 12.24.08 I warmed up the car ( it was verry cold) after driving a 1/4 mile the engine stalls and wont start enyimore. A few weeks later the Engin start, but it runns only in idle, by pushing gas the engine stalls again. It happens twice and since then it wont start enymore. "check engine" or other warniglamps never cam on. I checht Gaspressur= ok. also ther is a spark. Also the distributor turns with the engine. the batterie is dead, and i allways jumped the car with cables. i also checkt the sockets on the PCM the contacts look cood.

Ok. I checked the OBD-connector
  Socket Nr. 2,4,5,9,12 and 16 are occupied
on pin 16 i have 12Volt groudet over Pin 4.
Pin 9 i read with ignition on 4.46 Volt
pin 12 reads 4.26 Volt with ignition.
pin 2 and 5 no reaction.

does anybody has a wiring diagramm about the pcm and connectors?
In the meantime i insatallt anew batterie to provide stable power on board.
