why wont my 1990 g60 start with the key

my car started and ran fine the night i parked it the next morning i went out to start and it acted like the battery was totaly dead so i check the charge and it was fine i can pop start it fine but the key will not start the car

check the electrical part of the ignition sw, it has been known to fail.

This vehicle was garaged for over 2 years. It was started once a week. Attempted to start vehicle and it acted like it was not getting any fuel to the injectors.

you need to check if the voltage has dropped out of the switch, this is the first step. does the dash lights up she the key is turned?
