2001 VW Carbio alarm system

Bought 2001 Carbio from dealer that got for trade in had been stolen and recovered. Have
no keys, was able to start and drive with screw driver and now it will turn over but turn
right back off. Can we disconnect the alarm

Stick key / screwdriver into driver door lock and turn counter clockwise. If not works, turn lock to right (arm alarm) and then left, to disarm. If no work or is not possible, replace ignition cylinder in your new car so that you have key. Replace door handles so that you can lock it up and get the alarm to arm and disarm.

GO TO http://faculty.ccp.edu/faculty/dreed/campingart/jettatech/index.htm then look under "alarm help" This dan guy is a VW GURU took me 15 minutes and have not been sorry to remove alarm forever. cool part is alarm light still blinks and windows still work from key.
