05 BMW X5 won’t start

Hello, I have an 05 BMW X5 3.0. Other day battery light started flickering,
went solid and car died...it said safe mode but was in traffic, so misssed the
msg. Next day I buy battery replace it, nothing. Left and did some research
thinking alternator, get back to car it starts immediately..yeah...get home. Try
to leave dead, won’t start. Pulled new batter, charged to 100% as it only
showed 50 on charger..replaced battery car starts but has lights on several
dash indicators. Went to oreillys tested alternator, test 1 bad diodes, test 2&3
alternator good. Read codes, air filter I have numbers  but reset codes now
dead. Ignition isnt even wanting to recognize it’s turned unless
jiggled.....never had that before..please help I’m lost and tried all little things I
can find on net
