leaking from assembly that looks like a thermostat housing, but i thought on the 1999 z24 thermostat on bottom. it has two hoses connected to it & a metal tubing coming from it it like hard plastic and rubber

follow top radior hose see if it leads to a thermo housing if it dose you may have 2 thermostat,s take top one and replace thermo and gaskrt.

I can't tell from your question where on the engine block you're seeing the hoses and plastic assembly. Make sure this isn't a leak coming from the heater core.
