Should I buy this car?

It is a Chevy cavelier 1999 z24 the woman said it needs a
new engine because it starts knocking at higher rpms she
also said the kind it needs it's a twin cam 2.4

Are you prepared to spend another $2K to $3K having an engine installed? Plus the time in the shop to have the engines swapped and or rebuilt? It probably needs more work as well. I would look for another vehicle that is running and driving.
