Can the main engine computer settings be altered at a delearship??

yes...yes they could...don't know if you've ever configured a computer, but there are "jumpers"...perhaps this is a part of their game...but I suspect that there is nothing done to alter the ECU-...lucky it runs correctly to begin with~....laws of least resistance~
