I have changed my spark plugs and wires, checked wires, and cleaned battery cables.

Also check, clean and tighten the negative battery connections on the frame and motor. Also check alternator connections.

I have had the alternator and everything checked. Could it be my key is old?

Possible but I would not think so. Does it feel ok when you put it in ignition or is it sloppy and loose? Will car cut off if you just wiggle the key around while engine is running?

no. it will not. I have just let the car run. I drove down the road and each time I hit a bump in the road it cuts off and takes while to restart.

Oh ok. Sure sounds like a loose or dirty battery connection or loose or dirty frame/motor negative connection.

Then again it could be any number of different loose wiring connections. Is your check engine light on?

Ok have the codes read. The local auto parts will read them for free. Then post the codes back on here and we will be able to be more helpful. The codes will lead us to where your problem is

you can clear the codes with a small inexpensive handheld device...read the codes then "CLEAR the CODES" not reverse able, but the CEL will come on if this is a persistent problem~

I can not even make it to the auto parts store. The car randomly shuts off. But when I last took it there it stated random misfire. So I GO THE WIRES AND PLUGS CHANGED AGAIN. I really need some help. This is my only vehicle and I am unable drive without it cutting off.

so what exactly do I need to do? I know very little about the mechanic part of the vehicle. What am I do?

....was thinking that bouncing relay contacts could produce this if all electrical connections are good...got to be a relay...but the only show in town was this goofy relay box...mercedes are kinda proprietary with their stuff...BMW is wide open with their stuff~ http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/261331605220?lpid=82

I just tried driving this vehicle and it shut off. When I tried to restart it sounded as if it was no getting some air somewhere. What could these repair options be. Do anyone know where to locate the shut off fuel on this car?
