we need to knoe where do you find the object under the hook to check for the transmission?

You may not be able to check trans. fluid in this yourself, most of the newer vehicles by Benz, etc. have dealer-only plugs in place of the old dipstick.

The Transmission is probably a sealed system. Take it to a transmission mechanic .
