First of all, A Dodge 3500 does not hold gas. but the tank on it holds 35 gallons.

There is more than one size of tank for the 3500, the largest being 52 gallons and the smallest being 26. The tank can hold that much air or liquid or any slid small enough to fit through the hole, however it is not recommended to put anything besides the recommended fuel type for your engine (diesel for the Cummins and Gasoline for the HEMI)in the tank unless it is HEET or octane booster.
