when fuel tank gets to half full or lower it starves for fuel and starts stalling. It
has a in tank fuel pump

Check the fuel pressure, if it drops when fuel levels are low you may have a bad fuel pump, or a problem with the EVAP system. The EVAP system for instance may not be venting properly, so as fuel levels in the tank lower, it is not equalizing pressure. Next time this happens, crack open the fuel cap, if you hear air sucking in you have a vent problem.
