Verify that oil pressure is really dropping with a mechanical gage. Did it make noise when oil pressure dropped? If not really dropping, then it is electrical. Heard of the ECM not relaying the signal and needing to be reprogramed. But start with changing out Oil pressure switch with only the OEM part. Then check wiring. If oil pressure is really dropping, the oil pump pick up tube could be blocked from sludge. Drop pan and clean out. Oil pump could be bad. Oil could be too thin. There is a problem with the size of replacement bearings on the crank in theses motors. Wrong clearance creates a whole bunch of problems. Or any of the above answers. Good Luck
