Lighting issues

I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Hemi.  Dome lights stay on all the time.  I pulled fuse 18 to get them off.  My dashboard (odometer and transmission indicators) turn off when I turn on my headlights.  The dimmer switch will dim the indicators if the headlights are off.  Could this be a headlight switch going flakey?  All doors closed, the door ajar stays off.  Each door lights that indicator so I know it's not a door switch.

Any help would be appreciated.

The headlight switch assembly with fog lamp for our truck is discontinued. Luckily there are after market manufactures, After replacing the assembly, our problem is resolved.
