whats wrong with my truck?

my truck wont shift past second gear and i did some homework and decided to
replace the tcm but it didnt fix the problem , theres no light saying whats wrong
and it runs and idles fine just wont shift past second , need help.

check transmission fluid and filter, I doubt thats the issue but wouldn't hurt... it sounds like its time for a new transmission...
