My dodge ram 2002 1500 3.7 engine will not start. It cranks but doesn't attempt to hit. Fuel pump is working. It has no spark. I checked the coils. Spark plugs are in good shape. It never did give me any problems until I tried to start it this morning. I'm really stumped.

My 2005 Dodge Ram 4.7 is having trouble starting, it usually takes 3 attemps until it turns over. I suspected that it may be the check valve on the sending unit but I can find the part in online autopart stores which leads me to believe that it doesn't have one. After awhile it got to where it would idle rough. If I pressed the gas and let off it would die.
