99 dodge shutting off and dont know why can i get some help?

turns off randomly, no puttering or slow dying just a shut off after 20-30 min of
driving and more often when its hot out. om running out of money to put into
it. i was told to change the ceramic ignition resistor block??? never heard if
that neither has autozone or oreilys.  need some help asap

Does it start back up rightaway or u have to wait for it to cool off

The ceramic resistor that they're talking about was used on older models, ur has an electronic module, it's either licated inside the distributor or outside but connected to the distributor

Here is a website where you can see it, It's actually called pickup coil. parts #CR150 from autozone if you have the 5.2 or 5.9 engine

My brother has the same problem with his Dodge 1500 but it starts right back up. Irodri911, any ideas?
