1999 dodge ram 5.9 what causes gas to get in my oil

I checked my oil and noticed it looked thin and smells strong like it has gas in it

A leaking fuel injector.

Pcv system not working or a driving on a constant misfire washes the cylinder and leaks oil into the oil
